How the System Works
This kit will allow you to monitor around your foundation and receive notifications when your water level has reached a critical point.
THe VH400 moisture sensor reads measures the moisture in your soil and converts and outputs the level as a voltage that can be read by a logger. The VegeHub periodically powers up the AquaPlumb briefly, takes a reading, and then goes back to sleep. The VegeHub periodically sends all of it's data to VegeCloud.com our free cloud based server. VegeCloud allows you to visualize your data, and setup notifications.
Designed for Long Battery Life
One of our primary design goals for our products is long battery life. You can place our VegeHub and Sprinkler Controller anywhere without worrying about power connection connections. Under normal use scenarios batteries will last over a year.
Fast and Easy Setup
You can configure the VegeHub and add it to your local WiFi network by using a browser on your phone or PC, by connecting to it as a WiFi Hotspot.
The hubs configuration pages allow you to select how often and where you want to send the data.
Rugged and Waterproof for Long Life in Harsh Conditions
You can put this box outside in the rain or snow. The rugged PET plastic box has silicone rubber gaskets making it waterproof. All of the cable entry points use cable glands, so that no water or insects can get in.
The box has screw holes for easy mounting, so that you can put it anywhere. Or you can mount it to a 3/4" PVC pipe with our brackets.
Internally Stores Data When Internet is Down
If your Internet goes down - no problem. The Vegehub has an internal 64 sample storage for each sensor channel, or writes to an optional SD card for unlimited data storage, that can be access later using your phone.
